WHAT WE BELIEVE

WE SERVE GOD BY HIS SPIRIT

We hold firmly to the Word of God as the ultimate standard for doctrine, and we believe that the greatest demonstration of God’s love is found in the redemptive work of Christ. Through His grace, we are blessed and righteous in His sight.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

The City Of The Lord Church (TCLC) is a mission-minded teaching ministry founded in 1982 by Rev. J.S.A. Oladele. Our vision is to see all people celebrate endless life in Christ Jesus and fully embrace the power of His death, burial, and resurrection.

We are the hands and feet of Christ, spreading the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth.
